The Closet Reset is an in-home wardrobe editing, reselling and donation service operated by Danielle Letts ABN 12395219345 trading as The Closet Reset, based on the Northern Beaches, Sydney, Australia.

2. Services

We offer the following services:

The Closet Edit — A$295 2-hour in-home wardrobe editing session including Keep/Alter/Sell/Donate audit, full resell and donation management and monthly settlement of resale earnings.

The Full Reset — A$425 3-hour in-home wardrobe editing session including everything in The Full Edit plus full physical reorganisation of retained items.

The Little Reset — A$35 flat fee with any in-home service booked, A$50 first bag + $25 per additional bag, A$10 pick up fee (or free drop-off) resell and donation service for outgrown children's clothing ages 0–12. Available as a standalone service or as an add-on to any adult wardrobe session.

3. Bookings

• All bookings are made through our website at theclosetreset.com.au via our online booking system

• Full payment is required at the time of booking

• Payment is processed securely via Stripe

• A booking confirmation will be sent to your nominated email address

• Sessions are based on a single wardrobe. If your session runs beyond the booked time due to size or scope, additional time is charged at $100 per hour — I'll let you know in advance if this looks likely.  

• Each session includes resell management for up to 30 items. Any additional items are charged at $5 per item.  

• Minimum one full bag of items required for The Little Reset bookings

4. Payment

• All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD)

• Payment is processed securely via Stripe

• The Closet Reset does not store your payment details

• GST is not currently applicable as The Closet Reset does not meet the GST registration threshold

5. Cancellations & Refunds

• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before your scheduled appointment will receive a full refund

• Cancellations made within 48 hours of your scheduled appointment will receive a 50% refund

• Same day cancellations and no-shows are non-refundable

• In the event of cancellation by The Closet Reset a full refund will be issued within 5–7 business days

• Refunds are processed via Stripe to your original payment method

6. Resell Commission

Where resell management is included in your service:

• Items that sell for under $50 — the client receives 60% of the sale price · The Closet Reset retains 40%

• Items that sell for $50 or more — the client receives 70% of the sale price · The Closet Reset retains 30%

• Commission is calculated on the final sale price after platform selling fees are deducted

• Items are listed for a maximum of 60 days

• A minimum resale value of $20 per item applies — items below this threshold will be donated

• Monthly settlements are paid to the client by bank transfer within 7 days of month end

• An itemised settlement statement will be provided with each payment

• The Closet Reset reserves the right to reduce listing prices by up to 20% after 30 days without prior client approval — further reductions will be discussed with the client first

7. Item Collection & Storage

By booking with The Closet Reset the client confirms that:

• All items provided are owned by the client and free of any third party claims

• Items are clean, checked for damage and in a sellable condition

• Items will be stored securely by The Closet Reset until sold, donated or returned

8. Donations

• Items donated on behalf of the client will be taken to the client's nominated organisation or a local charity of The Closet Reset's choosing

• Donation drop-offs are included at no additional cost

• Donation receipts will be provided where available

• The Closet Reset is not liable for the actions or policies of third party donation organisations

9. Service Area

The Closet Reset currently services the Northern Beaches, Sydney and surrounding areas. Bookings outside this area are at the discretion of The Closet Reset. Please contact us at hello@theclosetreset.com.au to enquire about availability in your area.

10. Liability

• The Closet Reset holds Public Liability Insurance

• The Closet Reset's total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the session fee paid

• The Closet Reset is not liable for any indirect or consequential losses

• The client is responsible for ensuring The Closet Reset has safe and reasonable access to the home and wardrobe area

• The Closet Reset is not responsible for items lost or damaged during transit once they have left the client's home in the care of a third party courier or postal service

11. Privacy

• Client details are treated with complete discretion and are never shared with third parties except where required by law

• Personal information collected during booking is used solely for the purpose of delivering our services

• We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes

12. Photography & Marketing

• The Closet Reset may photograph wardrobe spaces and clothing items for marketing purposes

• Client consent for the use of before/after photographs is obtained at the time of booking

• No personal identifying information will be used in marketing materials without explicit consent

• Clients may withdraw consent at any time by contacting hello@theclosetreset.com.au

13. Intellectual Property

All content on theclosetreset.com.au including text, images, logos and brand assets are the property of The Closet Reset and may not be reproduced without written permission.

14. Changes to These Terms

The Closet Reset reserves the right to update these terms and conditions at any time. The most current version will always be available at theclosetreset.com.au. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

15. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes will be resolved in good faith between both parties in the first instance. Where resolution cannot be reached disputes will be referred to the relevant jurisdiction in New South Wales.
