Why The Closet Reset Exists
Hi, I’m Danielle. And I get it.
I’m a mum of two, on the Northern Beaches of Sydney and for a long time my wardrobe looked exactly like yours probably does right now. Full of things I didn’t wear, things that didn’t fit, things I was keeping just in case - and not a single minute to deal with it.
I started The Closet Reset because I knew there had to be a better way. Not just to declutter, but to do it thoughtfully. To make sure the things you let go of don’t just disappear into landfill - they go somewhere better. To someone who needs them. Or back into your pocket as cash.
I come to your home, we sort through everything together, and I take care of the rest. The reselling, the donations, the listings, the dispatch. All of it.
You just get to enjoy the wardrobe you actually want.
How it works

Choose your service and book directly through the website. Payment is taken securely at the time of booking and your session is confirmed instantly.

I come to your home and we work through your wardrobe using the Keep - Alter - Sell - Donate framework. Nothing rushed, nothing judged. Every decision is yours, I’m just there to help you make them.

I leave with the resell and donation piles. Everything sellable is photographed, listed and managed across Depop and Facebook Markeplace, or Vestiarie for designer items. Donations are dropped directly to your chosen organisation. You don’t need to do anything.

Every month I transfer your share of the resale earnings straight to your bank account with an itemised summary of everything sold. Simple, transparent and honest.

The Little Edit
A$35 flat fee with any in-home service booked
A$50 first bag + $25 per additional bag
A$10 pick up fee (or free drop-off)
For the bags of outgrown kids clothing taking up space in the corner. I collect (or you drop off) and I take care of everything. Quality items are bundled and listed for sale. Everything else is donated to families and children in need.

2 hours - single wardrobe per booking
The complete sort. We work through your entire wardrobe together using the keep - alter - sell - donate framework. I leave with the resell and donation piles and manage everything from there - listings, sales, dispatch and donation drop-offs.
The Full Edit
A$425
3 hours - single wardrobe per booking
Everything in The Closet Reset plus the physical transformation of your wardrobe. Once we’ve sorted and I’ve taken the resell and donation piles, I stay and reorganise everything that’s left - rehanging, categorising and arranging so that your wardrobe doesn’t just have less in it, it makes sense.
~ Sessions are based on a single wardrobe. If your session runs beyond the booked time due to size or scope, additional time is charged at $100 per hour — I'll let you know in advance if this looks likely.
~ Each session includes resell management for up to 30 items. Any additional items are charged at $5 per item.

From the very beginning The Closet Reset was built around one simple brief - nothing should go to waste.
The things you no longer wear have value. Sometimes that’s financial - a quality piece that sells and puts money back in your pocket. Sometimes it’s human - a bag of kids clothing that goes to a family who can give it another life or a wardrobe staple donated to a woman rebuilding her life.
Every item that comes through The Closet Reset is treated with intention. We sell what we can. We give what we can’t. Nothing ends up in landfill.
At the time of booking you choose where your donations go - local op shops, family support organisations or charities supporting women in need. I coordinate every drop-off. You don’t lift a finger.
